| Chez Arman, le principe même de Lavoisier était à l'ouvrage partout, tous les jours: "rien ne se perd, rien ne se crée, tout se transforme". Ici cela commence avec l'axe du "rien ne se perd", Arman détestait jeter, il gardait tout un tas de vieux machins qu'il reutilisait (deuxième axe) lorsqu'il en avait trouvé la solution (troisième axe). Ici il s'agit d'une planche qui servait de base de tirs pour les shooting colors (il faut que je retrouve les vidéos, c'est aussi jouissif que les dirty paintings...). La planche etait maculée par des épaisseurs de peinture, de traces de pas, de glissades, il a vu dans cet objet la beauté des couleurs et leur manière impressionniste, il a termine l'impression avec des tubes et des jets de couleurs... |

For Arman, the principle of Lavoisier was at work everywhere, every day: "nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed". Here it started with the axis “nothing is not lost”, Arman hated to throw away, he kept a whole heap of old things which he used (second axis) when he had found their solution (third axis). Here, it's a board which was used as the basis for shooting when he was doing shooting colors (I must find the videos, it is as much pleasure to look at as the dirty paintings…), the board was mackled by thicknesses of painting, traces of step, slips, and he saw in this object the beauty of the colors and their impressionist manner, he finished the impression with tubes and traces of colors…
