| Occupation principale de la matinée, le "damage control", activité consistant à remettre à l'heure ses troupes et à vérifier que tout le monde était servi de paroles apaisantes et consolatrices. Tel un joueur de GO de haut niveau, Arman sondait les affects des membres de la "Cour" et régnait en despote éclairé. Rien ne pouvait échapper à sa vigilance, comme sommet de la pyramide de son clan, il s'épuisait à ce que tout passe par lui. Comme les mâles dominants chez les primates (une étude qu'il citait souvent montre que le mâle alpha est plus enclin au stress et donc aux maladies cardio-vasculaires, que les autres membres du groupe, car il doit tout surveiller et contrôler pour conserver sa place, et tous les avantages inhérents, femelles, nourriture etc...) il s'investissait beaucoup dans cette activité. Lorsqu'il aboutissait sur un répondeur, il avait cette phrase, lapidaire et lourde de reproches de ne pas lui être disponible, culpabilisant l'absence: "Allô... C'est Arman... Il faut qu'on se parle..." |
